While trying to understand the political contributions of Jefferson, Hamilton and Jackson, the normative political theories can be applied. Their contributions are closely related to the overall approach towards the emergency management. Sinha & Dayal (2020, p 16) found out that the normative political theories are considered as ethical theories by some of the experts while others consider them as philosophical theories. All three of these US Presidents are the forefathers of the United States who had significant contributions in the field of emergency management. It can be said that Hamilton, Jefferson and Jackson, all of them have significant contributions which can be explained by applying the normative theories of politics
